This work is a reflection about the academic training that young students who access university life receive, training that emphasizes specialty studies, above humanistic studies. To this end, the chair of Dr. Leonardo Polo around the University will be taken into account, supported by the contributions of other specialists. In the same way, social actors and specific situations, which influence the young students for the devaluation of humanistic studies in their formation, will be identified. Finally, two academic activities will be raised that integrate specialization studies with those of humanities.
