Una reflexión desde la encí­clica social de S.S. Benedicto XVI: Caritas in Veritate

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to go in depth value two extremely  important philosophical  terms, those of «Charity» and «Truth». Both items are taken from the third social encyclical  of His Holiness Pope  Benedict XVI, Caritas in Veritate which guides the man through  his own integral development and that of people towards a true concept of social  development. We will briefly analyze these two terms, truth and charity, in the light of the  teaching of three great  philosophers and theologians, St. Augustine and St. Thomas  Aquinas, and Pope Benedict XVI”™s social encyclical Caritas in veritate.
