The purpose of this article is to present some reasons why the Christian faith, according to the line of thinking of Joseph Ratzinger, can participate in public dialogue with other sciences. This dialogue is possible in various social areas such as the university and the media. These areas are favorable places where sciences provide contributions to achieve human development and the Christian faith has also something to say because it provides a rational support towards integral development. It should be added that this work is a documentary analysis, since it follows a methodology using a qualitative approach and an explanation of the contents in a descriptive manner. These contents are organized in three parts, in addition to the introduction and conclusions. In the introduction, the justification of the work and the methodology used are presented. The first part explains why the Christian faith can participate in public dialogue with a different knowledge, in the second part how Theology supports this dialogue and in the third part, what are the adequate platforms for this dialogue. Finally, in the conclusions based on developed themes, the explanations of the results obtained are shown.
