This work investigates the readings today are given about the classics. To this end, it has been essential to consider the educational, ethical and pleasure they offer both academic reader as the common possibilities. In the educational aspect, it is the relationship between that transmit text and who are initiated into reading. The analysis also appeals to the authors who penetrated in critical about the nature of canon as were T.S. Eliot, Jorge Luis Borges, George Steiner, Italo Calvino or Harold Bloom. Thanks to these sources, the vision of the classic becomes as plural as unfinished, which corresponds very well to the proposal as an inexhaustible source of discussion and enjoyment. Also, do not neglect the proposal to arm a fee as may merit it the need for imbibing in them.
