Abstract

The youthful gestation brings serious complications whether biological, family, economic or social, affecting the adolescent both physically and psychologically. The reason we are investigating this topic is because it has become both a social and economic problem. Pregnancy in adolescents at a young age entails not only family issues but also health problems for both the young mother and the baby. There is a greater likelihood of complications during childbirth. Furthermore, youth pregnancy is linked to the poverty prevalent in our country.
