The level of professionalization of the human talent that manages the archival function of public or private organizations has a certain influence on the success of the operating and development strategies of these institutions. Information is another resource and must be recognized and treated as such. It is the responsibility of the institutions to form human teams with the conceptual and technical knowledge to establish the processes aimed at data management. Their assertiveness when selecting and taking advantage of the scientific and technical deepening of each of the processes will be decisive in the success of their business intelligence strategies. This article investigates through documentary exploration and the application of quantitative methods, qualitative appreciations of archival science and archivists today.
