In this paper, the author tries to find the link between the administrative procedure that forms which is part of Administrative Law with Archival Law, which includes archives and their records. The records of the archives are formed with each activity of the public administration, in a sequence ordered by the Law of Administrative Procedures, which are witnessed in the public documents, which are also archival records. The author carries out a comparative legal study of the laws of administrative procedures of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru in order to find the coinciding legislated regulations and their impact on the various issues of the Archives, specifically with the activities related to the documents of archive. She states that she in no way intends to exhaust the subject, from which it follows that other could also be studied according to the same methodology as the Public Administration is developed entirely on the basis of archival records.
