Abstract

The present research attempts to analyze the issue of death in the colonial and republican epochs. The historical information is based on a series of bibliographic essays and published and unpublished documented sources from different repositories in Lima. The research is completed with an on-the-field register that collects a series of photographs from the cemeteries of both epochs.
