Abstract

Last December 05, 2015 they were beatified in the Centenary Stadium of Chimbote, Miguel Tomaszek O.F.M.Conv., Zbigniew Strzalkowski O.F.M.Conv. and the Priest Alessandro Dordi. Since it was of be waiting, this historical event for the Peruvian church assembled, besides the chimbotanos, people of the whole Peru and of different countries. In the frame of those days of celebration for the so called Martyrs of Chimbote, we talk with the Fr. Walenty Chapiński, O. F. M.Conv., the one who lived closely the difficult years of the conflict armed in the country and, in addition, it took part of active form in the process of beatification.
