Abstract

Mons. Dr. Joaquin Martinez Valls (” ) became a chancellor at Sedes Sapientiae Catholic University. Afterwards, he was nominated to Chancellor Emeritus. From his position, Mons. Dr. Joaquin Martinez Valls worked hard defending and promoting Christian, humanistic and scientific education. His interest was to ensure the person`s value and the common good. In this interview, Mons. Dr. Joaquin Martinez Valls provided his valuable points of view about crucial issues related to current education and society from his experience. His valuation of the Christian and ethical principles in agreement to the Social Doctrine of the Church is worthy of note. The objective of publishing this interview is to pay tribute and gratitude to Mons. Dr. Joaquin Martinez Valls who used to express his affection and commitment for Peru.
