Abstract

Learning strategies are constantly evolving due to the technological advances that society has been presenting and the role that video games have as didactic tools in education. The objective of this research is to know how video games contribute significantly to teaching by applying learning strategies focused on university students in Latin America. A documentary review of articles from the databases: Redalyc, Scielo and Dialnet was carried out, regarding the different tactics that are practiced using electronic games to generate a significant university education. Specifically, we can state thatvideo games as a learning strategy contribute to the reinforcement of academic literacy and meaningful learning.
