Abstract

This article aims to reflect, in Mandela”™s various writings, the situation of human rights and its confrontation with the socio-political reality of our countries. It can also identify the lack of a new humanism that opts for the common good, freedom, equality, democracy. The methodology used was descriptive study and aims to describe the various bibliographical sources referred to human rights in the life and work of Mandela. It concludes by valuing the precious legacy of Mandela that left its mark on history.
