Its main goal is to raise awareness about death as an inevitable part of the human experience and to help people cope with grief and loss in healthier and more constructive ways.

The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the need for education that prepares the population to face their losses. This pedagogy is characterized by promoting openness to dialogue about death and creating a space where people can share their thoughts, feelings and concerns related to this topic. It recognizes that beliefs and customs around death vary widely between cultures and religions and therefore accommodates different cultural and spiritual perspectives. In addition, promotes mutual understanding and respect.

The pedagogy of death aims to demystify death, challenge stereotypes and unfounded fears and see death as a natural process and an integral part of life. Additionally, it provides emotional support and resources to those who are grieving, recognizing that this process is personal and that different people may need different types of support.
Miguel Eduardo Martínez La Rosa Copyright (c) 2024 Studium Veritatis https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/356 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Folkloric Dances and Psychomotricity in Students of Initial Education https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/357
The objective of the research for this work was to determine the relationship between folk dances and psychomotor skills in Initial Education students. Therefore, the PRISMA methodology was used for the systematic search and selection of scientific papers. As a result, 40 150 articles were found in the different academic databases and repositories. Also 16 papers met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of these investigations, 43.8% conducted an exploratory study of the social security system and, approximately, three manuscripts were published per year. While there is extensive literature showing various problems regarding the level, coverage and efficiency of the pension system, other articles express the need for a comprehensive reform of the Peruvian social security system and propose different multi-pilar models. In this sense, further studies are needed to evaluate the impact of a multi-pilar reform on the welfare of contributors and pensioners.
Yassir Eduardo Bonifacio Martínez Copyright (c) 2024 Studium Veritatis https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/364 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 A Contemporary Defense of the First Thomistic Way https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/365
The following article has the purpose of making an optimal defense of the First Thomistic Way in order to prove the existence of God, called: the argument from motion, according to Saint Thomas Aquinas exposition in his Summa Theologiae; against two objections: A) David Hume and Immanuel Kant’s agnosticism about the principle of causality, and B) the criticism from the current evidence of physical cosmology.
Renzo Rodrigo De La Quintana Bejar Copyright (c) 2024 Studium Veritatis https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/365 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Youth Pregnacy in Peruvian Society: a Contemporary Perspective https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/366
The youthful gestation brings serious complications whether biological, family, economic or social, affecting the adolescent both physically and psychologically. Such engagement is crucial for cultivating individuals who actively contribute to societal development, grounded in principles of humanism, ethics, and morality. This educational paradigm must transcend utilitarianism, prioritizing the institution’s mission, the gift of service of every educational institution. By embracing this ethos,
educational institutions can nurture the holistic development of individuals. However, to achieve this, it is imperative to establish a clear understanding of the essence and aspirations of educational management.

Educational management emerges as an organizational framework born out of the collective need to pursue a common good. Yet, oftentimes, management is narrowly construed as a quest for efficiency and resource optimization, thereby overlooking the humanity inherent in those entrusted with this responsibility. Hence, it becomes paramount for individuals assuming managerial roles to embody a deep-seated commitment to human development and service. Only by embodying these values can they truly serve others by being agents of change.

This article endeavors, through theoretical introspection, to unravel the epistemological and philosophical underpinnings of educational management and the role of the educational manager. It charts a course from mere rationality towards a more humanistic and transcendent understanding, grappling with the complexity of the human being, its spirituality and humanity.

In essence, this presents a profound challenge—to raise awareness for a paradigm shift towards a different educational management ethos in the 21st century. An ethos that acknowledges the inherent dignity and complexity of each individual within the educational ecosystem, transcending the reductionist tendencies that treat them merely as data points. It underscores the imperative to address their emotional, social, and intellectual needs with dignity, respect, and empathy.
Rosa Mercedes Cabrera Rondoy, Héctor Julián Portilla Moroco Copyright (c) 2024 Studium Veritatis https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/367 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Hermeneutic Phenomonology in Qualitative Research https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/368
In the field of science, the search for new knowledge that contributes to scientific methods becomes increasingly necessary. Hence the relevance and importance of Hermeneutic phenomenology, which is an approach that seeks to understand and interpret the experience in its most natural form of the phenomenon under study. In that sense, the phenomenological-hermeneutic method is part of qualitative research. This will enable the researcher to delve into reality and obtain understanding after establishing an exhaustive and reflective analysis. Its essential purpose as an approach is to provide new contributions, but not before having gone through a process of exploring the phenomenon of study, delving into the experiences of the subject and describing it to reach the most significant scale of the study: understanding regarding the study phenomenon.
William Jesús Rojas-Gutierrez Copyright (c) 2024 Studium Veritatis https://studium.ucss.edu.pe/index.php/SV/article/view/368 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000
